The master budget. We're going to go into this a little bit more. So the master budget, it's an aggregation of all the lower level budgets that a company produces. The master budget is usually presented in a monthly or quarterly format. And that's something that we will see, right?

We will have a monthly budget, quarterly budget. It can also include an explanatory text area to detail the firm's strategic goals and plan for the future. This central planning tool judges the performance of and directs the activities of the entity. Awesome. So the point of this, is that all of these budgets roll up into the master budget, all of these constitute the master budget.

You can't have the master budget without these. Obviously, if you don't have materials in your business, you're service based and you won't have this. But that is how the master budget works.
